Examples of contrast.

Image 1.

There are many elements of contrast throughout this image, firstly i would like to note the use of both black and white photographic images and colourfull computer generated images.

The colours over the black and white contrast against each other and there is also contrast in the differnt text styles used.One text used is a straight, boxy, computer helvetica type font, the other is a messy one that gives the impression it has been hand drawn.

Image 2.

In this image i like the way the photographic image has been made into a sillhouette, alowing it to contrast against the green gradient image. I like the use of white writing against the black shapes, it realy makes it stand out. The use of the splats inthe background add a great effect and it realy adds to the emotions brought forward by the rest of the image. I might look more into this image as power is needed to run a music event.

Image 3.

This image stood out to mebefore any other on the page it was on, much like image one i love the way there are a combination of photography and computer imageing in contrasting colours. I like all the detail in this image, i think a lot of thought went into the position of each item. The shapes used also contrast each other, with the pointed stars against the round circles. Although this shape is very busy i think it works.

Image 4.

Following on from the last image this image also uses both photograpgic and computerised pictures. It also uses the contrast of a rainbow of colours against the white background, if you look carefully you can see that the rainbows are actually in the shapes of faces, i love things like this that you have to look carefully for. i think this poster stands out but there is something about it that i do not like.
